Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub looks authentic on the inside... just like you'd expect an Irish pub to look like in Dublin. Lots of personality, dart boards, pool table, couches... just lovely! Don't let the shopping center location fool you! We went with friends on a Wednesday night and were treated to a fabulous Irish music session, which happens regularly. Food is deliciously prepared pub style items like Shepherd's Pie topped with beautiful swirls of lightly toasted mashed potatoes, Beef Pie, sandwiches, etc. All of it was scrumptious, and reportedly from old family recipes. Would highly recommend a visit soon. Great place for groups too.

I love this place! When I lived in Orlando this was a weekly place for dinner and a Guinness. Very laid back, order your drink and food at the bar, find a table and drink while you wait for food. There were only 2 guys I ever saw working here and they are good. No one ever waits long for a drink. Once you step up to the bar they will take care of you quickly. And the same 2 guys are making your food for you in a tiny kitchen off the bar. There is plenty to look at on the walls, although I don't know if you need it because the beer is good, the people friendly and the food delicious enough to keep you busy.

I stepped into Ireland today. A Irish pub anyway. Well stocked bar. Dart boards. Pool table. Low ceiling. Interesting photographs throughout. Simple menu. Once I got past the location (funeral home on one side, laundromat on the other, and homeless guy sleeping on a bench), I relaxed. I ordered harps and my husband had Guinness. I went for the Irish stew and it was savory and better than mine. The carrots and potatoes were the perfect crunchiness and the beef fell apart on my fork. The broth was fabulous. My husband had the chicken and mushroom pie. Flaky crust and definitely homemade. So much chicken! Would have been 5 stars with Irish soda bread instead of a white roll. Definite must for eating adventures!
