Early bird Cafe Review

Early Bird Café is situated a few blocks from my usual guest house in Pokhara and served as my go-to place for breakfast. This was my third visit to Nepal and I have returned to Early Bird whenever I was in town. I frequented this place every morning for breakfast during my 6-day stay in Pokhara and would stop by for their delicious hot chocolate during the chilly evenings. The café is cosy and I enjoyed my breakfasts whilst watching the world go by. Chaman, the head waiter, is amazing! He is friendly, gives excellent service and gets to know his regular customers by first name. He knew exactly how I liked my coffee and hot chocolate and served it perfectly each time. The prices are the most reasonable in town and the food is of excellent quality. I will definitely be back at Early Bird when I next visit Pokhara.

I've had some excellent dishes there, and a few times they weren't as good. Like today's banana pancake and chai was excellent, yet before that I got a pancake that was more like a dry chapatti. But most of the times their food was really good.

The waiters are friendly and the service is very thoughtful and meticulous.

Me and my friend both had fish. One fish and chips with tartar sauce, one grilled fish with mashed potatos. The dishes were really small, the sauce was no tartar sauce, you could taste the food wasn't fresh. We had more expectations. The small dishes were expensive and there was also a service charge. We're not going back to this place.
