This was my second visit in the Fumeiro - and definitely not my last! You can choose between delicious Tapas like an Asparagus/mushroom frittata or whiskey chicken. The service is just perfect - they introduce theirselves and are always courteous.

The price of chicken pie is 1.80 pounds, it may be the signature dish here, so it is really delicious. I like it very much from the moment I come in, because the environment here is very elegant, the hygiene is very clean, and I feel very comfortable. And the food here really makes me unable to extricate myself.

They said the part was small but we thought it was a good size. They had good food and good service. If you want a quiet dinner with good food and music, this is the place.

The staff here are very cute, efficient and friendly. It is best to book a table before coming. We have three people and ordered 5 dishes. The dishes are plentiful and the taste is really great. Every dish is carefully cooked.

We wanted something close by our B&B for dinner after an exciting but exhausting day touring Lisbon. Trip Adviser came through with this gem just one block away. Tapas style with smoked food a specialty made Fumiero de Santa Catarina perfect for our 17 yo foodie and our 13 yo 'only the basics' eater. I recommend the smoked salmon, grilled octopus, and cheese and sausage platter--among all the other excellent things we ate. Just FYI, like many small restaurants in Portugal, Fumeiro is cash only.

I went to Fumeiro just this week, with a friend, and we both loved this place. Is small but cozy and the waitress (Sara) could not have been more friendly, efficient and kind. We loved the food! In this restaraunt, the idea is to order some dishes and share them. Sara advise us that for 2 people, 4 would be more than enough. We had the octopus that was juicy and tender, the duck with apple and celery, the fries seasoned with salt, pepper and oregano and the sandwich Costeleta de Boi...eaten together with fries, it was amazing! We ended with the chocolate mousse that, to our taste is a bit too sweet. For sure we want to come back to this place!
