Grassmarket Cafe Review

Wow.! what a fabulous place for a coffee and quick bite to eat ,there's a wonderful selection of food,friendly helpful staff one in particular I believe she's called Julia who could not do enough to make my visit a memorable one...what a star. Top marks for the Grassmarket Cafe.

Stopped in here on the Sandeman's Free Walking Tour. They use this as a sales office on tours and as a bathroom stop and for anyone needing a coffee/tea/snack break. Very clean, nice staff, small retail area. Profits support social programs. I like that. Inside and outdoor seating available.

I came across this cafe when I was recently in Edinburgh with a friend. It is a lovely cafe and surprisingly peaceful given that it is in central Edinburgh. There is a good selection of food and drink, all reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly, chatty and helpful. My friend and I were very happy with our food and drink choices. Best of all this cafe supports vulnerable people with a variety of enterprises. Eat, drink and support a good cause all at once
