My husband and I were in Seville a few weeks ago and down the street from our hotel was this lovely restaurant. We had a peeled seafood paella (twice) and breakfast once (they do a full English breakfast reasonably early in the morning). The restaurant is intimate and decorated in a pared down trendy style. There is outdoor dining available, and it's inches away from Seville's beautiful cathedral. We ate indoors and it was very cool and calming after a hot, hot day in the town. The wait staff (Carlos and Ramon on the nights we were there) are charming and good fun. So everything was perfect... and then there was the food, OH MY! It was the best Paella we've ever had! Simple and so tasty. Always a good thing when there is a 1/2 hour wait for the paella, it means it's made while you wait. Oh yeah, lovely wine as well, and then a spectacular Strawberry and balsamic concoction, can't quite remember all the ingredients or what it was called but boy was it delicious. We are just making a Paella as I am typing this review, here's hoping it comes anywhere close to the one at GUSTO!

The decoration of the GUSTO bar is very distinctive, and there are many Spanish artworks on the walls. The waiter was very professional, greeted us all the time, ordered local beer, and friends were happy to chat here.

The veggie "albondigas" were excellent. I totally recommend this dish. In general, all the food was tasty and there were a vegetarian/vegan option in the menu. Excellent choice!

The 4 of us came here for desert course and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety and high standard of the delicious deserts on offer in their quirky little kilner jars. We were so impressed by the service, particularly from Giovanni, whose humour and attention was influential in us booking dinner for the next evening. We had another delicious experience with excellent beef and lamb on the menu. We would definitely go back.

A modern, Italian themed café bar with obliging staff. We ate breakfast here on two days after seeing a recommendation on a TA review of our hotel. It was on the pricey side (hence the overall marking) compared to others but still about a third of the cost of breakfast in our hotel. They offered a number of set options as well as pastries etc. – the fresh orange juice and coffee were particularly good. We also stopped by on two evenings for a couple of very good Aperol spritz before heading out to eat – perfect sitting out in the evening sunshine with views of the Cathedral watching the world go by. Not quite a ‘5’ but if TA marked in halves, I would certainly give this place a 4 ½.
