Higher Ground Review

Supposedly one of the trendiest places to be for brunch in Melbourne. The place is a sim with a chic decor with a refurbished power station as a backdrop. The food is not bad but it is slightly below expectations for me, given the raving reviews that everyone has been giving this place. The dark rye and chives waffle was the better dish among what we ordered. Chilli scrambled eggs had also a good kick to it with the spicy twist. Blueberry and ricotta hotcakes were not fluffy and soft enough but the taste of the toppings were good. Coffee was average for me. Try to go early or make reservations as the place filled up quickly given its popularity for a brunch spot for tourists or business people alike even for a weekday.

Higher Ground | The restaurant transformed from the old power plant is exquisite and comfortable from the beginning of the door. It is good to see that the food can look better and make me willing to spend money here... Round table Long table Bar upstairs sofa, there is always a corner for you to stay for an afternoon. After coming to Melbourne, I feel different from what I imagined. This is what Melbourne looks like in my head.

As soon as you walk into the restaurant you will know they offer delicious food. I love the cafe in Melbourne, which has extremely high ceilings and space. I wasn’t particularly hungry when I walked into the restaurant...but I bought food and after tasting the first kale salad...can’t help putting all the food in my mouth...I’ll try other dishes again.

higher ground just won the best interior design in Melbourne this year, the best boutique coffee shop. Industrial style decoration, mellow coffee, delicious desserts, everything is so perfect, it is worth going to.

The brunch restaurant with good appearance and taste, no wonder a bunch of people lined up at the door, we went to take a half-hour weekend. The dishes are very foreign, the taste level is very rich, the picture above is recommended by local foodie friends. Net red cake and kale are both must-order!
