Kafischnaps Review

Kafischnaps is located one block down the hill from Schafhauserplatz. This café is at a busy intersection and has a large sidewalk seating area at the front and side. Inside there are wooden tables and chairs and the decoration is mostly checkered floors and walls. All orders are paid and served at the bar. The staff seems energetic and there is music playing in the background. They have a good selection of magazines and newspapers for the customers. The menu consists of breakfast items, a light selection of hot & cold lunch options and dinner. Hot and cold beverages are also whipped out from the bar. I had a hot chocolate (5CHF), steamed milk served with packaged chocolate powder and a cookie. Kafischnaps also happens to be a small pension with about five guest rooms.
