The Buda Palace is out. The bus at the door is 16th. The cafe must charge 15% of the tip. The menu is marked. The cafe must charge one euro for dining and going to the toilet. The cake tastes okay but there is really nothing to eat. Only burgers

    3/5Average

We arrived here at just before midday on Wednesday. Lots of people had gone for a drink or snack after a long wait for the funicular. We could only see two server staff when we arrived. We had to seat ourselves, went up to order to be told someone would come to us which took ages. I then saw there was actually 7 waiting staff available just chatting in the lobby. They weren't attentive at all and all just looked constantly miserable giving dirty looks. Like they had nothing better to do (their jobs!) The food was good but the service left much to be desired! Which we had gone to one of the other cafes!

    1/5Terrible

Stopped in for some drinks and cake whilst visiting the area and although the cakes were nice the tea was weak and very poor so I asked for another teabag, after finishing our tea and cakes I asked for the bill and was surprised to see I had been charged for another pot of tea, I queried this with the waitress and she said the charge was for the extra teabag. I could not believe I was being charged the full price of another pot of tea just for asking for an extra teabag and was livid, the waitress then became very surly and an argument ensured so I asked to speak to the manager and she informed me she was the manager although I very much doubt it with her appalling behaviour. I pointed out this it was ridiculous to charge another £4 for a single teabag and she continued to demand that it was paid and we finally agreed on £2 just to end the situation. Never in all my travels anywhere in the world have I ever once been charged for an extra teabag especially at such an exorbitant price, this women was a real b***h and the only unpleasant experience during my stay in Budapest.
