We came for a diner and update meeting with colleagues. We were especially attracted by the photo from other guests on the trip adviser. Evening got us off the wrong foot: the dinning area and the food were completely different than we expected – internet site need to be updated promptly. Next our waitress was not sure about menu items and needed to ask somone . After the wine was serve we were left to fend for ourselves for almost an hour due to a group (so we were told) in a privet dining area. At that time we received an amuse bush that did not wow us. First course came and was nicely done and well-presented but again we waited way too long to get it. The main cores came faster, they were well executed and well-presented but we were still gutted from earlier so we were not impressed as much. Deserts were nice as well but again no wow factor. To make us even more annoyed we were asked to get up and pay for at their waiter’s station because the Credit card Machin was too far based from where we were sited. I guess that the all evening can be summed up in this fraise:no wow factor . We felt cheated from a positive Michelin review and did not have our money worth.

    the breakfast had the full range of cheeses, cereals, eggs, breads, yoghurts etc and all sorts of interesting drinks. The staff were lovely and attentive. The room is very nice too.

    Friday night this restaurant serves a French buffet. The buffet is reasonable in size. The salmon pate was superb, the foie gras missed something at least semi-sweet to harmonize the taste. The venison pate was not really good. The chicken was good, the duck was dry. Deserts were reasonable but without phantasy. The buffet wine list was poor. Fortunately I could choose an excellent Barolo from the normal restaurant wine list. To have a look there was not entirely easy. I spoke to the waiter who sent me the head waiter who I had to convince to unwillingly show me the wine menu. And finally the service was not really polite.
