Discovered Omino's when I moved to the neighborhood 20 years ago and although I moved away long ago I still return for their outstanding sushi because I've never found a better place in the city. Their fish is always fresh and of outstanding quality, a given in any fine sushi bar. But so is everything else, from the proportion of rice to fish, to the rice itself. Some places make their rice noticeably sweet, I think to mask the quality of their fish, but not Omino. I've never had a bad item, let alone meal, there. Love the ahi sashimi, soft shell crab, and when they have it, the raw scallops and white salmon. Good selection of sake as well. Just be prepared to wait if you want to sit at the sushi bar.
