In general food was good. Pizza had canned mushrooms that we did not expect. Staff was fun and friendly, and ambience was great!

This is one of my neighborhood favorites. Great food, service and ambiance. They always make me feel like I am their most important customer. I have dinner here 1-2 times per week and it’s always a special event.

We went for NYE and could not have been more pleased! The service, ambiance and quality of cuisine were amazing. The meal was perfectly paced and they were kind, warm-hearted and responsive. Unlike other dining experiences in Italy over the years, their bill was refreshingly straight forward without a service fee or cover charge. (I was mortified not to be able to add una mancia to the total like in Austria and grateful that an ATM was close!) The experience was superb and helped transform this year’s visit to Firenze for the better - especially after our lackluster AirBNB stay. We highly recommend Osteria Vecchio Vicolo!
