I visited Pho 14 last night with 2 friends while in town for business. The restaurant is located in the eminently walkable Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC. Having taken a long run earlier in the day, I was craving a bowl of noodle soup to fill me up. Pho 14 was not precisely what I was looking for. The menu offers few "authentic" items, and even their noodle soup seems to be a strange westernized amalgamation of the Vietnamese staple. Although the soup was ultimately tasty (if a bit on the salty side), I found some of the ingredients to be lacking. The brisket was thinly cut, the tripe was nearly non existant, and the round cut steak was anything but rare. That being said, considering there are no other vietnamese options in the immediate area, the restaurant isn't a huge letdown, but you may find better options (which aren't Viet) in the immediate area.
