We walked by this restaurant early in the morning, and immediately knew we were coming back for supper. It has the feel of an old southern restaurant, and the food fits. We had fried chicken and ribs, and it was fantastic. The sideboard was exceptional as well, the chicken salad should not be missed! Terrance took great care of us, bantering with the kids, and making sure we didn't want for anything. The only complaint came from my son's catfish - it was very muddy tasting. However, for great southern food, particularly fried chicken, don't miss an opportunity to stop by Pittypat's Porch.

An extremely American-style shop, I want to eat lobster. Bake really doesn't taste at all. Although the lobster is fresh but not amazing. The green mouth also smells of seawater. The tourist restaurant can't talk about it, and there are many locals in the United States. You can pull grass.

We enjoyed eating at Pitty Pats Porch. The staff was very friendly and the food very good. I had the shrimp and grits and boy were they yummy! My husband and daughter had the fried chicken and they loved it! My son had the ribs, also very good! The mint juleps are also very good.

    4/5Excellent

The food here was unique, varied, and mostly very good. Two of us ordered the catfish, and it was very "fishy" - so disappointing as that is definitely a southern staple! The fried chicken was delicious, the shrimp and grits was spot-on, and one of the kids got the macaroni and cheese as a side - best mac n cheese ever. And I have eaten a LOT of mac n cheese in my day! The side board (salad bar) was fresh and delicious, and the live piano music was lovely and nostalgic. The building itself needs cleaned and refreshed - the ceiling ahd many water-stained tiles, the gone-with-the-wind sketches looked sad with the writing having been taped over, and everything just seemed sticky and dirty. The place could use a deep cleaning! Overall a fun experience and delicious meal, would recommend stopping there!

We had dinner here last night. The ambiance was lovely. It really brings you back to old school Atlanta. We loved the old front porch sipping lemonade feel of the place. But that was the best part of the whole meal. Service was extremely slow. At times we weren't even sure if he was still in the building. The food was okay. We all had the world famous fried chicken and/or ribs. All entrees came with the sideboard salad bar. The chicken was okay, kind of bland and not crispy like you expect from fried chicken. The ribs were great and the bbq sauce was very good. The salad bar looked like it was stocked with vegetables that had been around awhile. The corn bread and homemade biscuits were very good. Deserts, bread pudding was very good. The chocolate cake, which was supposed to come with ice cream, did not, but the cake itself was okay. The peach cobbler was okay. It was pretty expensive for the meal over all. For a family of four the total with tip was $185.00. We have eaten in similar types of restaurants for far less.
