Sup Hameed Review

The Sup Hameed mutton soup on the betel nut road is one of the best known local cuisines. WE WOULD VISIT THIS STALL EVERY TIME WE ARE IN PENANG. THE STALL IS LOCATED ALONG JALAN PENANG AND IT IS SITUATED RIGHT IN FRONT OF HOTEL MALAYSIA.MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE WILL BE THE SPICED AND HOT CHICKEN SOUP SERVED WITH 2 SLICES OF 'ROTI BENGALI' WHICH IS THE LOCAL WHITE BREAD. THE WAY TO ENJOY THE SOUP IS JUST TO DIP THE BREAD INTO THE HOT SOUP. THE SOUP IS COOKED FOR LONG HOURS WITH SPICES AND HERBS. I LIKE THE SOUP AS IT IS NOT TOO THICK SO IT IS JUST NICE TO SCOOP THE SOUP WITH A SPOON.THE STALL STARTS OPERATING AT 2PM SO YOU CAN ENJOY A BOWL OF DELICIOUS HOT SOUP AND SLICES OF BREAD EVEN FOR SUPPER.
