Ristorante Pizzeria Montalbuccio Review

This place was up the road from where we were staying and was recommended to us by different locals. The food was really good and the place was very busy but the service was terrible. My husband got his main course after I had totally finished mine and they never excused themselves for this. The dessert was to die for so all was forgotten.

This restaurant was not far from where I was staying so I decided to try it out. The place was real busy but I had no issue with the service. The waitstaff was very accommodating and very helpful in providing me some suggestions to the favorite dishes of the locals. I started off my meal with a rissotto dish consisting of radaccio and cheese. The dish was properly prepared and when it came out was nice and hot. For my second dish I had tagliata (flank steak) accompanied by olive oil and peppercorn. The flank steak was cooked to perfection. I also had a side dish of roasted small onions, also very good. Through this meal I ordered the wine of the house (it was OK) and a liter of still water. My overall experience was very good and in the end the price not bad either. Overall great meal and good value.
