Snappers Restaurant Review

While at the Best Western Plus in Launceston for a few days, we had dinner one night at the Snappers Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. The restaurant is right next door to the Tram Bar Lounge, and the staff seemed to be work both the Lounge and the restaurant until the restaurant required full-time attention. We got there a little early, partook in happy hour drinks, that we then took into the restaurant for dinner. Our meal was fine, and only marred by a poor quality espresso, which our waitress agreed needed improvement. If you don't feel like heading out for dinner, Snappers would be a good choice.

Not sure what happened, use to be a great restaurant to visit, the service was very average and the quality of food wasn't much better, just a bad experience. The tram bar is pleasant but the staff worked both the restaurant and bar which is ok unless you are busy

We booked a table here because the online menu had blue eye travalla on the menu. We arrived and were shown to an old wooden table that is badly marked. No table cloths. The whole place is dingy and way outdated. Old chairs and bad carpet. We found out that nothing on the website menu was available. The menu has changed. We ordered anyway. Service was appalling. There was only one girl working and she didn't bother to look after us at all. We waited 35 min and still no drinks or food arrived. We walked out. No apology or anything. NEVER GO HERE.
