Tandure am Ihmeufer Review

A restaurant with very thoughtful service, the hand torn bread is still hot torn open and the feeling of fluffy taste is great.

We had a mix of lamb chicken and meat. It was excellent. We also had the salad with tomatoes and lettuces. The desserts were really good. The restaurant is about 5 miles from the downtown

We booked in advance, but on a Wednesday evening in October, that proved not to have been necessary; there was plenty of room. The service was fine, but we seemed to have been left to our own devices for rather longer than was comfortable after being asked to choose a table. No matter, the food more than made up for that. We'd been meaning to try this place for ages, so it was good to finally get to eat there. It's tucked away a bit, so you might want to check it out on a map first, if you're not sure. We had Casta Bala and Dana Şiş, which were really nice, together with Bulgur (spicy, cooked, dried cracked wheat). We also had a bottle of Turkish red wine, called Yakut, which was full flavoured and fruity, and moreish. We're sure to go back again now. There's plenty to try on the menu.
