Came here whether friends during our visit and had some amazing dishes. Soft shell crabs were perfectly fried and the chefs special sashimi was just simply divine. Hand rolls were extremely tasty and grilled fish was just perfect. Totally recommend this restaurant

The exact name is Temaki. Japanese cuisine, the owner claims that his goods are "made with enthusiasm and creativity and ingenuity." The dinner is beautiful and exquisite, and there are some special varieties at noon. It really tastes good.

2nd visit here, but it had been a while since my inaugural trip. I was here for a business lunch and shared a bunch of stuff - and all of it was excellent. We wild sockeye salmon and tuna sashimi, spicy agadashi tofu, a couple rolls, tuna takaki salad (excellent). Personal, friendly service - and hey, I'm told it's favourite sushi spot of a prominent Vancouver chef and I would agree - its a great place for Japanese if you happen to be in the arbutus / broadway area.

The two of us went to Temaki Sushi on a Tuesday to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at 5:50 pm and we didn’t have reservations but we were seated promptly. We started with the crab salad ($10) and the smoked salmon pear salad ($14). The serving size of both salads was quite large. We enjoyed both salads. Next, we shared a chicken yakitori ($6 for 2 skewers), a roll combo ($14 for 17 pieces), a sushi combo ($14 for 11 pieces), and one assorted tempura ($12 for 4 prawns and 3 vegetable). Everything was very tasty. For dessert, we had a mango ice cream ($4.95) and the tartufo ice cream ($5.50). Both were a good way to end the meal. Complimentary Japanese tea was served throughout the meal. Service was friendly and efficiently. Total cost of the meal was $84 before tip. We were finished by 7 pm. I would definitely return.
