Vegetarian Food Studio Review

This place was fantastic! The restaurant is clean and friendly. There is an absolutely huge menu to pick from and it very catered for vegans also! We ordered the thali which is a set meal for just over £6, this is an absolute bargain! The food was amazing, well cooked and well flavoured and definitely enough in terms of portion size. If you love traditional Indian food and vegetarian / vegan dishes you need to visit this place! Be warned- they do not serve alcohol. You can bring your own however for £1 corkage! Thanks VFS; we will be coming back. Take a bow.

We are regulars at VFS. We always receive the warmest of welcomes and the finest food and drink of any Indian restaurant in Cardiff or the surrounding area. Innovative menu, consistent high quality food and great ambience. This place is a gem.

The food is excellent with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Our 10 year old son is not keen on veggie food but thanks to some suggestions he really enjoyed his Tofu Capsicum (as did we) even though it was spicy. Although we ordered a tasty gluten free Thali to get a mix of dishes, next time I think we'd order a mix of main dishes. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, good value, tasty food only a 10 minute walk from central Cardiff - what more could you want?
