View Point Restaurant Review

The View Point restaurant is located on the top floor of the Point Hotel Barbaros and overlooks Istanbul, including the second bridge. That is its main redeeming feature. They host events here sometimes. Breakfast was included with our room, so we went upstairs and were amazed by the morning view. Seagulls soared next to the windows and we sampled the buffet. Fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing and I had a bureka pastry, along with some cheese (too salty, Turkish style) and some olives and salads. There were some lunch meats (European style) and some other salads and cheeses. The breakfast could have used some fish and more egg options; but it was a nice experience and should not be passed up.
