Photos of Balboa Park

The park is divided into two areas, north and south. The north area is dominated by squares. Many museums are buildings left over from the 1915-California Exposition, with strong Spanish Renaissance colors. The southern area is dominated by the Pan American Plaza, and the surrounding buildings are the legacy of the 1935 California-Pacific International Exposition, with the architectural style of the southwestern United States. Walking into the park, there are mostly museums on both sides of the avenue, and you can only visit the exterior. Tourists who want to visit the museum can choose to go on non-holidays.
