One of the best pizzas we have ever had! Ordered the 12 inch Eggplant Pizza with a thin crust and made a couple of substitutions to the toppings. Great for 2 people to share. Really lovely wait staff, great service, clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this place. Highly recommend.

首先我得表示這家店的水準已經是可以和一些二三星的日式料理媲美了。Ju-ni在日文中是12的意思，顧名思義，店內只有12個座位。每晚有三個廚師坐鎮，客人每四位分到一個用餐區，一位廚師四位客人，讓廚師可以充分跟客人交流每一道菜的食材來源，烹飪方式等等，一邊吃一邊學，且能馬上吃到最新鮮的壽司。（盡量少拍照吧，除非像我們這樣一定要拍的，因為日料廚師講究每一分鐘吃進口裡的壽司味道層次感都不一樣，趕緊吃最好）。Menu是選用最新鮮食材製作的Omakase，包括14道菜的Nigiri，每次來都可能吃到不一樣的東西，充滿驚喜。當天嘗到的幾道就讓我們印象深刻，像是選用鰤魚（Buri，油甘魚的一種，來自日本的野生Yellowtail）做的壽司，肉質很有感覺（Texture），油香肥美。另外Kindai Tuna（藍鰭吞拿魚）也是出乎意料的鮮美，而且它們都選用可持續發展的魚，很環保。必須提及一款壽司名為Sawara，用的魚是King Spanish Mackerel（帝皇級西班牙鯖魚），上面放置了一種黃色的叫：Finger Lime的小水果，來自澳洲，有小小酸味和魚搭配起來可說是十分帶感，新鮮開胃又清新。一家壽司餐廳好不好從最簡單的玉子壽司Tamago可看出，Ju-ni的玉子壽司好特別，是兩塊切成三角狀的蛋羹，作為完美收尾，給味蕾帶來comfort感。吃不飽的可以繼續嘗試extended Omakase。對了，還有最後上的一碗小小清湯Owan，這是用了三天時間，用蟹肉、魚骨和海帶蘑菇熬煮的，一碗醒神啊！服務上面還有一些改善的點，當天坐在我們旁邊的是一位荷里活星星，感覺sommelier就只跟他聊忽略了所有人了。餐廳創辦人是舊金山冒升很快的明星主廚Geoffery Lee，他曾在Sushi Ran和Akiko&#39;&#39;s工作，合夥人廚師Patrick Luong來頭也不小。每天有兩輪，六點到八點半，以及八點半到打烊，如果要訂位，最好提早兩個月以上。
