This cathedral is a beautiful treasure in religious architecture. The magnificent church made of various marbles was built in 1215. The construction process spanned more than a century and was built by the efforts of countless Italian artists. . This Gothic cathedral not only has an amazing exterior, but the interior is equally stunning, with 56 panels inlaid on the ground, from more than 40 artists from the 14th century onwards. Completed in 200 years, depicting history and the picture in the Bible. Inside the church is a famous Piccolomini Library, which enters from a gate in the North Gallery of the Church and you will find yourself in an fascinating library, also the library of Pope Pius II. After a long, spiral staircase, you can reach the panoramic observatory on the wall at the edge of the cathedral, where you can see a panoramic view of Siena.
