I thought that there was no light to look at, but I didn't expect that the sunset was just on the Buddhist altar and I quickly bought the ticket. Buddhism is very particular about the number 7 . When Sakyamuni Buddha was born, he took seven steps. Every step of the foot gave birth to a lotus flower. Buddhism also had a seven-level float. There were four big stars in the sky, and seven people in the sky. The wisdom tooth has 28 teeth and so on, all of which are multiples of 7. The excavation of the Maiji Mountain Grottoes was first carried out in the 16th period of the post-Qin Dynasty and was excavated in the later period. Therefore, visiting a scenic spot can see Buddha statues from different periods. The most classic place of the grotto is to look at the Buddha's eyes. It is different from the Buddha statues in other places. The eyes are especially radiant. They are illuminated by the sun and are extremely shiny, because the eyes of the Buddha are made of colored glaze. The statues of the Maiji Mountain Grottoes, especially the Buddhas of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, have one feature, all of which are arranged in a row, and are basically one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas. Only the Buddha of Sakyamuni Buddha is a Two disciples of Buddha. In order to protect the Buddha statues of the caves, you have to visit them and watch them through the iron bars. Only the Buddha and some Buddha statues can be seen outside. Such spectacular artifacts are not easy to reduce their weathering time.
