Photos of Tokyo Station

Tokyo Station, located in Chiyoda District, Tokyo, is the railway station of the East Japan Railway, the Tokai Railway and the Tokyo Metro. It is the starting point of many railway lines in Japan. Like most buildings built in the Taisho and Showa eras, Tokyo Station is built with British-style red bricks. During the Second World War, Tokyo Station was bombed by the Allied forces, but after repair, it can no longer be seen as damaged. Today, the ancient-looking building stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding modern high-rise buildings. There is a post office next to the station, where you can buy postcards and souvenirs. As a capital station, Tokyo Station has quite complete commercial functions. Tourists who like shopping can spend a day here. You don't have to leave the station, you can visit many shops, in addition to a variety of takeaway food stores and many restaurants, you can taste Japanese food, and buy your favorite souvenirs.
