Everything was excellent, from the welcoming staff to the food. It was a great find. Recommended.

The appetizers and the squid entree were amazingThey served a vegan cauliflower dish that was a little disappointing.

I decided on a last minute overnight to Trieste and found a reservation for this place on The Fork. I must say, I found the staff and environment lovely! The appetizer (potato and asparagus flan) was superb and so unique. The bread offered meant I got to eat every last bite. I literally cleaned my plate. My main course was the duck breast with a brandy and orange sauce and while the duck was cooked to my preference, I found it lacking in the seasoning and sauce. I felt like I was searching for orange or brandy which made it all a little bland. As a side, I ordered grilled zucchini and while the grill was good, it was again lacking a bit of seasoning. I added a little olive oil and salt and it was delicious. Finally, not that I needed it, I ordered the molten lava chocolate cake. It was amazing but I had definitely ordered too much food and couldn&rsquo;t finish it all. The wine selection is extensive and the team knew how to pair properly. I enjoyed my meal and would consider another dinner there!

Food was decent but service was disappointing. Long periods where no one was around. Dropped off wine list but never came back to take order until the food arrived 20 minutes later.

We have been to this restaurant several times and it always consistently excellent.  The orato was perfectly cook and presentation was pleasant.  Never been disappointed.

The food quality is not bad, but the menu is very touristic...

Fantastic restaurant, excellent food and outstanding service. Try the ham cooked in bread served with horseradish and mustard, it was worth travelling to Trieste just for that!Loved the ambience and relaxed atmosphere

Philippe  our server was excellent  he explained the whole menu to us in English. We had lots of fun with him. Lots of beers and local wines not on the menu which were fantastic. Food was amazing. If you want to try local Trieste food this is the place to go.if you want local food with a good time this is the place to go
