In Hongqi Village, Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, it was my first time to contact Koreans in close proximity to the country. Most of the villagers here have moved from North Korea. Now living in the village is already immigrant. The third and fourth generations, with more than 100 households, are a village where pure Koreans live. The small village is surrounded by mountains and waters, and the environment is quiet. A house with Korean national architecture is neatly arranged. The villagers have always maintained the ancient Korean folk customs, with a strong traditional cultural heritage and unique geographical advantages. In 2006, Li Dezhen, director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, named the village: The First Village of Chinese Koreans. When you come here, you can walk into their homes, feel the traditional customs and life of the Korean people, see the customs of making cakes and kimchi, and of course, there are beautiful Korean girls who can sing and dance.
