Going deep into the scenic spot is the famous red pine forest. The red pine forest of Wuying is very famous and has the reputation of Hongsongs hometown. The biggest red pine here is over 800 years old. There were a lot of fallen trees along the way, and many of the big trees were blown down by the wind in the 2008 windstorm.
