Attraction reviews:

Family, go to the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Museum, really opened my eyes! As soon as I entered the door, the futuristic building shocked me, and the sense of technology was full. I plunged into the science venue on the third floor, played with those physical interactive devices, and experienced the scientific principles firsthand, which was much more interesting than reading a dry book. There is also the light and shadow exhibition area, which is simply a holy place to take pictures. The light and shadow change wonderful pictures, and the filming rate is super high. After shopping around, it feels like following Doraemon through time and space. From ancient technology, I see the future and think about it. It is definitely worth the fare. It is strongly Amway.

East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden

The spring storm has swept through East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden as promised, with the pink early cherry blossoms blooming first to mark the beginning of the season. The story of cherry blossoms at East Lake began in 1979 with a gift of friendship from former Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka—78 cherry blossom trees. This romantic diplomatic gesture has grown into a legend over more than 40 years, evolving into a grand floral feast across the garden's 520 acres. "Come to East Lake to see the cherry blossoms" has now become a globally celebrated springtime tradition.

East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden

As one of the "World's Top Three Cherry Blossom Viewing Destinations," East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden boasts over 10,000 cherry trees, featuring more than 80 premium varieties such as Somei Yoshino, Oshima, Kanzan, Yaebeni-shidare, and Ameshidare. It also includes rare green cherry blossom varieties like Ukon and Gyoiko. During peak bloom, the garden transforms into a breathtaking sea of blossoms, with petals dancing in the wind like a dreamy floral rain.

East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden

With the opening of the "Three-Dimensional Cherry Blossom Viewing Skywalk," the perspectives for admiring cherry blossoms have greatly expanded—from under the trees to high above, offering a multi-level, multi-dimensional experience that brings people closer to the flowers. Meanwhile, over 10 acres of vibrant rapeseed flowers bloom in full splendor, adding a burst of color and romantic atmosphere to the scene.

The Chu River runs through the street. You can hop on a boat and take in the scenery (on both banks). At night, the scenery gets even more beautiful. If you walk to the middle section of the street, you can see a replica of an antique grand stage where performances are sometimes held.

Attraction reviews:

Autumn at Wuhan University is a grand yet serene feast of colors on Luojia Mountain. As the autumn breeze sweeps across the campus, Luojia Mountain quietly dons its magnificent attire of "layers of vibrant hues." The layered colors are evident in the mountain's undulating terrain: from afar to near, the hues are richly layered, with deep green, bright yellow, orange-red, and ochre interwoven and blending, like a vast natural oil painting. The vibrant colors are hidden in every corner—in front of the ancient administration building, the ginkgo avenue is a sea of gold, with fallen leaves fluttering like butterflies; the fiery red leaves of the maple garden contrast beautifully with the gray walls and green tiles of the Republican-era buildings; the plane trees, tallow trees, and other trees each display different warm tones, creating dappled light and shadow under the clear autumn sun, a breathtaking sight. This is not merely a visual feast, but also a unique romance of a university. Strolling through the campus, the ancient buildings with their upturned eaves, nestled amidst vibrant foliage, exude a serene and elegant charm, making one feel as if they have entered a poetic temple of knowledge. Wuhan University's autumn scenery is thus renowned as one of the most beautiful university landscapes in China, a perfect example of the harmonious blend of nature and culture. Now, no appointment is needed to enter Wuhan University; simply swipe your ID card to enter. Do not use scalpers.

Liangdao Street is a street of famous schools in Wuhan with a history of over 100 years. There are a large number of snack bars, tea shops, and bookstores on the street. Attraction reviews:

The city of Wuhan is steeped in the stories of many old streets like Liangdao Street. While not the most glamorous, they carry the true breath and heartbeat of a city. Liangdao Street is worth a visit, not just for a bowl of hot-dried noodles or a bite of tofu skin, but for the poetic atmosphere of the street, untamed by commerce. Liangdao Street's first attraction is its unpretentious culinary confidence. Shops here lack neon signs and internet-famous decor, yet they embody the authentic flavors of Wuhan. At six in the morning, the aroma of sesame paste from the hot-dried noodles stalls awakens the street. The skilled hands of the oil-fried buns wrapped in shaomai (steamed buns) have been repeating the same process for decades, yet each morning feels fresh and new. Unlike the cookie-cutter "local specialties" of the food streets, most of the small shops on Liangdao Street embody the tenacity of family traditions. Master Zhao's red oil is simmered for eight hours, while Grandma Xiong's original broth uses pork shanks simmered overnight. This dedication to flavor imbues every bite with the weight of history and the warmth of craftsmanship. Walking along Liangdao Street, time unfolds in a wondrous, layered manner. Freshly washed laundry might hang on a mottled brick wall, while a literary café suddenly appears around the corner. A white-haired elder sits on a bamboo chair listening to Chu opera, while a young man next door livestreams the street view on his phone. There's no artificially contrived "retro" feel here; old houses are just old houses, inhabited by generations past; new shops are just new shops, carrying the dreams of young people. This naturally blended sense of time and space makes Liangdao Street resemble an open 3D book, with each turn revealing a different chapter.

Qingchuan Pavilion is located on Hanyang's Tortoise Mountain and faces the Yangtze River, across the river from the Yellow Crane Tower. Qingchuan Pavilion was built in the Ming Dynasty and was named after the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Wei. The pavilion as it exists today was rebuilt in the 1980s according to historical photos. The scenic area consists of three main buildings: Qingchuan Pavilion, Wuhan Dayu's Palace, and Tiemenguan. There are also a number of other attractions such as various stone tablets and monuments, decorated archways, and cloisters, all rich in classical Chinese charm. It is very pleasant to climb up to the pavilion, feel the wind from the river, and enjoy the view of the river. The classical architecture and the greenery here complement each other perfectly, and the beautiful scenery has caused this to become a popular spot for wedding pictures in Wuhan.

Attraction reviews:

Qingchuan Pavilion is located on the riverbank and is one of Wuhan's famous historical sites. The entire scenic area is not large and focuses on history and culture. Qingchuan Pavilion faces the Yangtze River, and from the pavilion, you can see the Yangtze River Bridge.

Guiyuan Temple is a famous temple in Wuhan, located in Hanyang District. It was founded in the 15th year of Shunzhi period of the Qing dynasty and is shrouded in burning incense all year round. It is the custom in Wuhan to pray at the temple every spring festival, especially on the fifth day of the first lunar month. Attraction reviews:

A temple worth visiting. It is very quiet and not crowded. The story of the Arhat Hall is very good. You can get three incense sticks after entering the temple. The walls of the temple are red, yellow and white, which is quite distinctive. Yuantong Pavilion is worth seeing, it is magnificent and tall, and the architecture is very distinctive.
