| Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is a cross-sea bridge connecting Potou District and Xiashan District in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China. It is located above Masha Bay and is part of Guangdong Provincial Highway S373. The Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was approved in 1992; construction started on July 30, 2003; and was completed and opened to traffic on December 30, 2006. Zhanjiang Bay Bridge starts from Haichuan Expressway in the east and ends at Leshan Road in the west; the total length of the line is 3,981 meters, and the main bridge is 840 meters long; the bridge deck is a two-way four-lane first-class highway with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour; the total investment of the project is about 1.2 billion yuan. |
Zhanjiang Jinshawan Coastal Leisure and Tourism Area is located on the east coast of Chikan District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is a national 4A scenic spot. The tourist area is divided into several functional areas from west to east, including a water sports center, a cultural landscape display area, and a beach water activity area. There are many sculptures in the area, such as the "Olympic Goddess" sculpture based on Lao Lishi, and other works based on water polo and synchronized swimming. | Chikan Old Street, located in Chikan District, Zhanjiang City, is a small street that retains some Republican-era buildings. However, its preservation is incomplete; some old buildings are gone, and others are dilapidated. I strolled along, stopping frequently to look around. One place I visited had really delicious beef offal wontons. There was also a Chikan District Museum, which was free to visit, and its exhibits were quite interesting; I spent quite a while looking at them. |
Chikan Republican Style Street is located on Heping Road, Chikan District, Zhanjiang, Guangdong. It is a tourist destination that integrates multiple cultural characteristics. The architectural style here is unique. There are both European colonial-style buildings in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and Lingnan arcade buildings, forming a unique "Nanyang-style architecture". Walking on the style street, it seems to have returned to the Republic of China period. The arcade buildings on both sides of the street are partially built into sidewalks on the first floor, and the second floor and above are "riding" on the first floor to shelter pedestrians from wind and rain.

Xiashan Catholic Church is a rare Gothic church in Zhanjiang. The front wall of the main building extends 20 meters to the green road; the rear wall extends 6.8 meters to the fence; the left wall extends 6.1 meters to the fence; the right wall extends 23 meters to the bungalow, with an area of 2607.66 square meters. Construction control zone: along the protection range line, the left, right and rear sides are extended for 20 meters respectively, and the front ends at the shaded road. The exotic flowers and different leaves of the Catholic Church "fork leaf wood", there are five fork leaf trees in the seaside park of Zhanjiang City, also known as the cross tree. Four of these five trees are located in the north central area of the park, and one is located in the entertainment city in the south area. Fork leaf tree fruit is large, oval, smooth surface. The cross tree has become a major landscape in the park, and tourists come here to stop and watch. After the French Emperor invaded Zhanjiang, Catholicism followed. In 1900, French priest Fan Lan proposed to build a church while presiding over the local religious affairs. In 1903, the church raised funds and built it. With a masonry reinforced concrete structure and double spires, the building area is about 600 square meters. The hall can accommodate nearly dry people. It was the largest Gothic church in South China at that time.
