Beautiful Cathedral
Stop at the information office and they will take you around. The people here are extraordinarily nice.
Acerenza Cathedral
Very nice and old church worth visiting. The diocesan museum has a wealth of church records for researcing ancestors in the town!!
Great place of silence
Really simple cathedral. Lovely place to contemplate life without being bothered. Spectacular views from around the cathedral.

It is a nice catheral, interesting and well maintained. I am sure there is a lot of history within its walls and surrounding streest, but for the non italian tourist there is nothing noteworthy. I...

The town of Acherenza is located on a high hill. It was not easy to get here by rural paths. But the ancient cathedral may be worth it.
