It is located inside the olympic park with other sports compex but the Bird's Nest has become an icon of the 2008 Beijing Olympics . To stand up close to Bird's nest makes you even appreciate the intricate and complex design of the structure. I suggest go there late afternoon like 5 o'clock so it won't be too hot especially in the summer so then you get to see it lit up as well. It is even more beautiful with the lights on.
