Not visiting the Forbidden City when chasing flowers in Beijing? That's foolish! You must go
Chasing flowers in Beijing! You definitely can't miss the Palace Museum, where the variety of flowers is extensive and beautiful. Each type is worth checking in, with detailed locations provided.
🔸
✅Magnolia
The Forbidden City has both purple and white magnolias. The magnolias at Donghua Gate are among the earliest to bloom in Beijing, usually around March 12th.
⚠️Time: From early March to April
📍Location: Outside Donghua Gate, Imperial Garden
🔸
✅Apricot Blossoms
The delicate apricot blossoms, set against the tall red walls, are perfect for photography. The apricot blossoms in the Forbidden City are my obsession, as they are so elusive with a short blooming period. A strong wind can blow them all away. The apricot blossoms in the Imperial Garden bloom even earlier and last for a shorter period. Photo taken on March 28th.
⚠️Time: Recommended at the end of March
📍Location: Crabapple Forest at the entrance of Wenhua Hall, west side of Kunning Palace, in front of Shoukang Palace, northwest corner of the Imperial Garden
🔸
✅Crabapple Blossoms
The crabapple blossoms in the rain are too beautiful. The crabapples in the Forbidden City are mainly Western crabapples, with red buds that look even lovelier against the green leaves.
⚠️Time: Mid-April (My photo was taken on April 14th)
📍Location: Xiehe Gate, Wenhua Hall, Cining Palace Garden, Shoukang Palace
🔸
✅Lilacs
Purple lilacs, white lilacs, the lilacs in the Forbidden City match the ancient architecture, making photos especially stunning, with white marble railings and red walls with orange tiles.
⚠️Time: Mid-April, my photo was taken on April 14th
📍Location: West side of Xihe Gate, next to Wuying Hall, behind Cining Palace Garden
🔸
✅Yulan Magnolia
The pink Yulan magnolia is also beautiful. They can be found in various parks in Beijing, and of course, the Forbidden City is no exception.
⚠️Time: Mid-April (April 14th)
📍Location: Imperial Garden, next to Wuying Hall
🔸
✅Peony
When the peonies bloom, it's like the splendor of a brocade city, and the peonies in the Forbidden City are extremely beautiful. You must go!
⚠️Time: From late April to early May
📍Location: Imperial Garden, behind Cining Palace Garden
🔸
✅Wisteria
There's not much wisteria, but it's also beautiful.
Time: From late April to early May
Location: Imperial Garden

The entrance was a great workout for me, For someone that doesn’t really work out much. I really appreciated the museum experience. The Museum wouldn’t be my first choice though.
The Forbidden City in Beijing is an awe-inspiring testament to China's imperial history. Its grand architecture, intricate details, and vast courtyards transport visitors to a bygone era. Navigating the imperial halls and gardens is a captivating journey through Chinese heritage. Despite the crowds, the sheer majesty of this UNESCO World Heritage site makes it an unmissable cultural treasure.
The story of the imperial city, Yue, is very professional. Let me and my friend cross the Ming and Qing periods from now on. Let us understand that there is a big gap between TV drama and history. Guide Yue's explanation has a shallow and deep, vivid and interesting way. Let us feel the historical and cultural heritage and value of the Forbidden City. A lot of historical knowledge has been harvested. This trip to the Forbidden City was very happy. Five-star praise [screaming teeth] You deserve it! recommend! recommend! recommend!
The first time I went to Beijing to travel, of course I went to the Forbidden City Museum! ! ! So I booked a local travel agency and explained the whole process. It was really great. The lecturer who led us was a lecturer in Jingzhuangyuanlin. He knew the Forbidden City like his palm. When he asked questions, he could answer them and learn a lot of historical knowledge. The Forbidden City is quite majestic. Next time I come or recommend it to a friend, I will still find a lecturer in Jing Zhuangyuanlin.
Xiucai said that Qi Dao contacted us one day in advance to meet the time and place. The explanation of the Forbidden City the next day was very meticulous, caring, there were many children in the group, the history stories and traditional culture were particularly wonderful, and it took more than 3 hours without knowing it. It is highly recommended.
Xiucai said that Li guide took us to visit the Forbidden City in a limited time. It was a very enterprising experience. From the initial worry, I met the boring and rigid guide. I didn't expect to listen to Li guide's explanation. It seems to have an immersive feeling. It is worth recommending. Five-star ⭐ praise!
A place of interest and monument very suitable for bringing children, hehehe, the second time I brought my brother. I have been here twice in total, and I haven’t seen it every time. I still have to work out and work hard to strengthen my strength. I will look at it carefully for the next four hours. Come on.
