Potipot Island

going there took as almost 8 hrs from manila coz we were not able to take the straight trip to sta cruz zambales...we took the trip to olongapo via vicory liner in cubao(php202) instead from there, another bus to sta cruz(php168)...we made a wrong decision to take the ordinary bus coz it went thru every town of zambales. make sure you take the aircon bus if via olongapo...when we reach the town of candelaria...we bought our supplies to be brought to the island even though there is a mini store on the island. less than 15 mins from the town to uacon, jumpoff to potipot. we were able to contact a family who rented boats going to the island. boat ride 400 for 6 pax not bad for a deal. entrance fee day tour php 100.00 and 300.00 for overnight. there ate cottages to be rented for php1800 or you can bring your own tent if you are on a budget. there is generator on the island for the lights. public toilets and baths are clean. there are people who really maintains the cleanliness of the island. but also be a responsible individual by bringing your own trash bag for your trash. the island is worth coming back. just look at the pictures.

Potipot island is located at Candelaria Zambales. the mini boracay of zambales with white sand and crystal clear Water, you will surely relax and rejuvenate here.
