In 1950, Bai Mansion was used as the war criminal management office of the southwest Ministry of Public Security. In 1956, it was announced by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government as a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level. In 1988, it was announced by the State Council as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.
