    Beautiful views over Crémieu

    Before we left Crémieu, we found a road to the back of 'Les remparts de Crémieu' and were rewarded with beautiful views over the town below. Well worth a visit just for the views.

    Car parking is located at the foot of the stairs where the climb to the Ramparts begins. The climb itself is not for the feint hearted, as it it is quite steep with loose shale rocks underfoot. Howeve...

    Amazing views of this medieval town

    The view from the ramparts is worth the climb from the old town. There is a well preserved beamed market in the centre of the town.

    The ruins and fortifications of Cremieu are simply beautiful. They are an exquisite reminder of the history of this region.
