China’s largest ski resort!🏂⛷🎿Getting There - 2 hours by car from Chengdu, need to take cable car up to the mountain Attractions - Xiling Ski Resort Hotels - Scandina Hotel Food & Restaurants - Xiling Ski Resort Shopping - Xiling Ski Resort Xiling Ski Resort is located in Sichuan Province and around 2 hours by car from Chengdu city. Once you arrive in Xiling, you will need to take a cable car to access the mountain and it costs ¥120 round trip. Once up in the mountain, everyone need to take a free bus that bring to Xiling Ski Resort. We chose to stay at Scandina Hotel that is up in the mountain, so it means we needed to carry our bags until we reach the hotel that is 5min walking from the bus station. We left our big luggage in Chengdu and only brought skowboard clothes, boots and helmet with us to Xiling, I reccomend you travel light if you also choose to stay in the hotel up in the mountain. Speaking about Scandina Hotel, it is the best considering it’s location, specially if you like to wake up early and go snowboard/ski on the first time in the morning, because you save the time of queuing and taking the cable car from the bottom of the mountain. But the staff is not really helpful and not prepared to receive foreign guests. Also meals are not great, there is only chinese food and quality is not good, but you don’t really have many choices around. Speaking about the Ski Resort, me and my husband already snowboard and we had our equipments, but you can rent all there! There are lots of kids and families that actually go to plan in the base and not go up to the mountain and do sports. There are not many Medium/Advanced trails and they are very short, in the end we spent more time in the lift than actually enjoying snowboarding. This is my first time to Xiling Snow Mountain. The time was not arranged, which caused the cable car to close down the mountain. Order confirmation is fast and very convenient. Ctrip has ticket discounts, which is cheaper than buying on site.
Suitable for winter to see the beautiful scenery of the snowy mountains, in the Xiling snowy mountains, you will be shocked by the beauty in front of you. The snowy peaks, against the blue sky, are like a natural ink painting, intoxicating. The sound of the stream in the mountains makes people feel quiet and relaxed.
This is the most cost-effective cableway I have ever sat on. I can sit for a long time. I have everything in the middle of the mountain. I don’t have to worry about eating and drinking. I can also bring instant noodles and have free boiling water. The price on the mountain is right. After the second cableway, I can see some small squirrels.
After the Lantern Festival, there are not many people on the mountain. This package is very cost-effective, including two cable cars back and forth + bus back and forth. Because the snow on the mountain has not yet been melted, the road on the mountain is closed, and you can only climb to the top of the mountain by cable car + bus. Go to the hotel or go to Daxue, Chengdu, in short, it is worth going, the children in the south are rare snow.
I want to see snow, but I don't want to go too far to Harbin. This is a very good choice! The place is very large, there are commercial streets and ski resorts, and any corner hill can also slide by itself, which is very interesting. If you have a plan to live on the mountain, it is recommended to book early. The hotel is really hot and the price is not cheap, but you can play for 2 days of snow. I chose the hotel under the mountain, which is cost-effective.
I took my baby and bought the cable car ticket plus tickets for 19.9 yuan. The scenery of the scenic spot is quite pleasant. It just feels like I have to draw a blind box.
