Appearance like public hall in the early Showa period
Original Text
About 5 minutes walk from Takeo station. Free admission. Reinforced concrete built in 1929. It looks like a public hall in the early Showa period and is a national registered tangible cultural property. The location is located in the place where the domain school 'Rikkyokan' was located, and a stone monument carved as' kengaku monument 'is placed on the right side of the front. It seems that historical materials of Echizen City are exhibited in the museum, but the day I visited was closed despite the opening day and I couldn't visit it.
An emergency exhibition "Amabie and Aya disease" was held.

Two plates, "Registered Tangible Cultural Property" and "Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum", were hung at the entrance. I'm not sure about the location of the "Echizen Fuchu Machinaka Museum", but I understood that it was an important building designated as a "registered tangible cultural property". Grace, on the day of the visit, an emergency special exhibition "Amabie and Aya disease" was held, and I took a peek because it was free.
Buildings of registered tangible cultural properties of the country
Original Text
It is a heavy building located south of the west exit of JR Takeo Station and is designated as a national registered tangible cultural property. It is a building suitable for Takeo, which has a long history as a castle town. The first floor is a permanent exhibition of archaeological materials, and the 2 floor is a space to introduce the history and culture of Echizen City. Showa 4 The public hall, which was the center of administration and culture, was renovated in 1929 and is the current figure. It is close to the Tsuji and Chihiro Memorial Hall in Kura.
Built in 1924, it is a simple form of straight, rectangular architecture that is often seen in old city hall. Inside, there is one room from Jomon to the history of modern Takeo, but you can see an exhibition that can be overviewed.
I stopped by for a walk around the area from Takeo Station. There was a coin locker on the first floor, which was a permanent area. "History of Echizen City" was held. Shooting was prohibited for exhibited works. The exhibition space is not large, but it is good to know the history of Echizen City 〇
