If you are looking for an old village vibe and great photos spot, then this place is must visit if you are in Kawaguchiko area. Otherwise, you can skip it.Its a beautiful place in the valley. The houses and the vibe is so great. However, most of the caption are in Japan, so if you don’t have a guide and do not understand Japan, you will not really enjoy it. But, as the surrounding is very nice area, it still worth it to visit and enjoy the vibe.

Iyashino-Sato Nenba Healing VillageIyashi no Sato stands on the site of a former farming village on the western shores of Lake Saiko. The village was destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966. Forty years later the village's traditional thatched roofed houses were reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where people can learn about the culture and try out and purchase different local handicrafts. The village is now made up of more than twenty houses that have been converted into shops, restaurants, museums and galleries. Each of the shops specializes in a traditional craft such as pottery, incense or weaving. Some of the handicraft shops, provide hands on workshops for visitors to try making traditional products, including washi paper, charcoal and soba noodles. The remaining houses include an art gallery that displays local artworks, a produce shop and a portrait studio where visitors can try on kimono or samurai armor for a small fee and take photos. 西湖いやしの里根場の桜🌸It's a place where you can enjoy the view of Mt.Fuji and the traditional Japanese scenery, and it's even more beautiful during cherry blossom season. Usually, the best viewing period is from mid to late April, but this year, they might bloom in early April, or possibly even earlier🙃I'd love to go see the cherry blossoms again! 富士山と古い日本の景色を同時に楽しめる場所ですが、桜の時期はさらに美しいです。例年は4月中旬〜下旬が見頃でしたが、今年はもしかして上旬には咲くのかな🤔もっと早かったりして‥。また桜を見に行きたいです。kyoko1903_1

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba#japantrip A village scenery with a distinct Japanese style . It wasn't originally plan of my itinerary, but the tour guide highly recommended it, and I'm grateful I visited. All the houses are ancient Japanese thatched-roof homes, well-maintained and clean. The views just like from an animated film - clear streams gently flowing in front of small houses, watching origami cranes dance in the breeze, you can see distant green mountains and white clouds, all of these creating an atmosphere of peaceful, tranquil serene countryside feeling - like a cartoon. Saiko Iyashi no sato#japantrip I didn't consider coming to Lake Kawaguchi the first time I visited, but on my second visit, I wanted to explore some other places. It was snowing on that day, creating a unique atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional Japanese village. Each small thatched-roof cottage had its own charm, including exhibition halls, restaurants, craft shops, and souvenir stores, all with different features. As I walked towards the top, there was a picturesque little forest that was perfect for taking photos. Overall, this place is worth visiting. Even if the weather isn't ideal and Mount Fuji isn't visible, there are still many beautiful sights to behold.KrisAdventure_19

Saiko Iyashi no sato#japantrip Have you been to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia? This place in Japan gave me that vibe! Old world, brought to life, with hands on experiences. We really enjoyed our lunch at the old tea house, called Seiryutei, at the entrance, where we sat at a table with our legs tucked under a warm blanket (heater underneath!). To visit one of Fuji's five lakes: the attractions along the West Lake, you usually have to go to Kawaguchiko Station to take a green line bus. You can also stop at the green line bus: Matsutake and other buses on Shishima. There are many groups in the village, and the souvenirs are still exquisite. We have been playing with big fish for a long time. Very happy.
"West Lake" is one of the five lakes of Fuji. Because it is smaller than Kawaguchiko Lake and the hotel does not have many Kawaguchiko Lake, it is far less famous than Kawaguchiko Lake. Go to Kawaguchiko Station and take the "Green Line" bus to reach the West Lake Hezhang Village. The village is quite quiet, there is a happy , always follow us.
The rebuilt village of Hezhang is quite simple, the grilled fish vendor next to it is delicious, and the strawberries are really super sweet during the production season.
