Hakdong Mongdol Beach

The black pebble coast of Hedong is surrounded by Laozi Mountain and Jialuo Mountain, which is especially quiet. Because its terrain resembles a flying crane, it is called Crane Cave Dream Stone. Large and small black pebbles are distributed on the ground 1.2 kilometers long and 50 meters wide from Longyan, covering an area of 30,000 square kilometers, giving people a unique feeling that is hard to find elsewhere. It's a wonderful feeling to walk on these pebbles listening to the sound of the waves lapping. It is said that stepping on these pebbles also has the effect of massage, which can be described as killing two birds with one stone. In addition, the wild camellia forest area along the coastline is designated as a nature reserve, and the camellias bloom in February and March, adding a bit of interest to the coast. In summer, there are also eight-color birds with a length of 20cm. These birds come in June and leave in September, and the colors are very gorgeous. It is also a summer resort. The sea water is clear and clean, and tents can be set up by the sea. It is very suitable for the whole family to come here for vacation and leisure. Therefore, many tourists come here to escape the summer heat. There are sashimi shops and other facilities around the beach to rest, as well as guesthouses and other facilities, and a seaside festival is held every summer. Cruises to Haegeumgang and Outer Island Sea Farm also depart from Hakdong. At sunset, the sea water is reflected in deep red, and the sea King Kong floats on it. From the cruise ship, the scenery is very romantic.
