This is the only Ming Dynasty city wall preserved in Guangzhou, and the oldest city wall left in Guangzhou. The ancient city wall of Yuexiu Mountain was built in Minghongwu 13 years (1380). According to Ming "Guangdong Tongzhi", Guangzhou City at that time was 3,796 feet long and 2 feet high. There are city gates, city buildings, enemy buildings, police shops, etc., and the history is called: the old city. It and the first floor of Lingnan in Zhenhai Building and the Wuxianguan are known as " Guangzhou's three major monuments in the early Ming Dynasty ". The preservation is relatively intact. It is a section near Zhenhai Building, up to 200 meters long. Today, except for Zhenhai Building, there are only remnants of varying heights, and other buildings have disappeared.
