Huacheng Square is known as Guangzhou "city living room", is the largest square in Guangzhou, from October 25, 2010, fully open to the public. The square is located in the core node of the Pearl River New Town on the new central axis of Guangzhou City, east of Yucun Road, west to Huaxia Road, north of Huangpu Avenue, south of Haixinsha. The master plan covers an area of about 560,000 square meters, planted more than 600 large trees and ancient trees, about two kilometers of walking wooden plank road and a floating island lake covering more than 1.5 million square meters.
