Shimen Scenic Area

The Shimen Scenic Area is located 8 kilometers away from the Park Hotel. There are two rocky mountains standing on the walls and craggy rocks, about several hundred feet high. The ancient pines on the tops of the mountains are vigorous and majestic, just like two open stone gates. What is even more amazing is that there is a thousand-year-old banyan on each side, like a pair of male and female lions guarding the stone gate. Here you can watch the towering Shimen, Shimen fragrant snow, autumn and winter red leaves, Sparrow flowers, rare plants, Shimen streams, and visit the varied Shimen Valley. The Shimen Valley has a total length of 2.5 kilometers and is also one of the components of the canyon adventure area. In the valley, a small stream flows down. Going up the stream, strolling in the secluded valley, listening to the murmur of the water and the melodious birdsong, pondering the strange and jagged stones that can be seen everywhere, and admiring the green and jade-like pool of water. The two peaks on both sides of the Shimen Shuangfeng Road are opposite to each other. Shimen Peach Blossoms In Shimen Scenic Area, you can see slices of peach blossoms. Shimen Xiangxue Guangzhou has three famous plum viewing spots, one is "Luogang Xiangxue" in Baiyun District, the other is "Liuxi Xiangxue" in Liuxihe Forest Park, and the other is "Shimen Xiangxue" in Shimen Park. Shimen Furong Plank Road Furong Plank Road is more than 800 meters long, and is mainly composed of stone-based hydrophilic trails and wooden plank trails. The plank road goes up the creek and connects to scenic spots such as Shimen Fragrant Snow and Shimen Valley in the central area of Shimen. Because of the wood hibiscus planted on both sides of the plank road, it is named "Hibiscus Plank Road". Walking in it, the gurgling water is melodious, the insects and birds are chirping, and you can listen to it gently. Every May, the hibiscus flowers bloom, and the flowers and waters complement each other, forming the beauty of "Zhi Shui Hibiscus".
