Zhenhai Tower is undoubtedly the one! Zhenhai Tower is known as the number one scenic spot in Lingnan. The tower is five stories high and is shaped like a 'tower in the form of a building, and a building in the shape of a tower'. It was built in the thirteenth year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1380) by Zhu Liangzu, Marquis of Yongjia, originally named 'Wanghai Tower', and later renamed 'Zhenhai Tower', symbolizing the power to guard the sea. Zhenhai Tower is the most intact, most imposing, and most ethnically characteristic ancient building in Guangzhou, standing 28 meters high and 31 meters wide, with five stories. This section of the wall is a historical heritage of Guangzhou's city walls and, together with Zhenhai Tower and the bell tower behind the Wuxian Temple, is considered one of the three major ground relics of early Ming Guangzhou. The Five Rams Sculpture The Five Rams Sculpture stands on Muke Hill in the park and is a key cultural relic protected by Guangzhou. It was built in 1959 by three sculptors Yin Jichang, Chen Benzong, and Kong Qiuchuan. The main ram holds its head high, with a grain in its mouth and a smile in its eyes, while the other four rams surround it, either playing or grazing. The rams vary in size and posture, with beautiful shapes, and have become the symbol of Guangzhou city, which is also known as the City of Rams.
