Stunningly beautiful lakes just a short walk from the parking lot
Gozaisho numa and Akanuma are right next to each other, but it’s Akanuma (also known as Goshiki-numa, or 5-colored pond) that is the main attraction. This volcanic lake never freezes, and due to the m...
After seeing Dragon Eye, I was planning to go to see alpine plants around Hachimanuma, but the snow near the top of the mountain was in a state where my feet were not blurred. So I turned back and went out to Gozaisho-numa, where there was no snow, and the azaleas were in full bloom and beautiful, and the swamp was covered with a swamp, so I enjoyed it to my heart's content with walking for about 20 minutes. The azaleas are at the end of the game and I think they are scattered around June 20th.
It was a pity that I couldn't see the flowers because it was the time for the autumn leaves.

Enter the Aspite Line from Matsuo Hachimantai IC and there is a parking lot at the end of the snow shelter near the site of Matsuo mine. I walked from here. It wasn't the time of flowers, so the forest with autumn leaves was more beautiful than the swamp. It is said that Mizubasho blooms in spring and Watasuge blooms in summer, but this time it was the beginning of the autumn leaves season in autumn. Akanuma seems to change to cobalt blue in the summer, so I wanted to visit next time.
Go along the promenade from the parking lot and the end point. Gozaisho-numa is clear water, but the adjacent Akanuma is a red swamp mixed with mud. However, the scenery of the swamp itself is reasonably good. I think it means you can enjoy the sense of accomplishment that you have walked so far.
I walked from the parking lot below aiming for Gozaisho NUMA and Akanuma. Is it one way 7~8 minutes? It is a place with a good view of the autumn leaves of the mountains, walking in Susukinohara. From the parking lot below, I could see the remains of a mine that looked like a ruin.

The road from the swamp to it is a great view
