It is the oldest building in Saitama Prefecture built in the late Kamakura period. It is a simple Japanese-style architecture and is designated as a national important cultural property. The enshrined Amida Sanson is also a cultural property designated by the prefecture, but it seems that you cannot usually see the inside. It is within walking distance from Higashi-Agono Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. The surrounding area is rich in nature and is also the starting point of hiking courses. I came to Fukutokuji Temple No. 30 at Musashino Kannon Sacred Ground. There is no parking lot. Fukutokuji Temple was not opened. Fukutokuji is said to have been opened in 1212 by the Rinzai sect.
