Hengshan Hanging Temple is located in Hunyuan County, Shanxi Province, also known as Xuankong Temple, 65 kilometers away from Datong City, the national key cultural relics protection unit, is the only remaining Buddhist, Tao, Confucian three-teacher unique temple. Hanging in the north of the mountain of the golden dragon gorge on the west side of the half cliff between the cliffs of Cuiping Peak, the national key cultural relics protection unit. Hengshan Suspension Temple was built more than 1400 years ago in the late Northern Wei Dynasty. The Suspension Temple was repaired in all dynasties. The Northern Wei Dynasty moved the Taoist altar from Pingcheng. Today Datong moved south to this place. The ancient craftsmen built the Suspension Temple according to the requirements of the Taoist "do not hear the sound of chickens and dogs". The temple is magnificent. The architectural style, simple and spectacular, superb architectural skills and immortal artistic value fully reflect the wisdom and strength of the ancient working people. It is the embodiment of the essence of ancient Chinese architecture.
