The main building is a banquet place. The back is the accommodation. I chose a high floor. The view is very good. The room is large. The bedding is moderately soft and hard. The towels in the bathroom are sealed in plastic bags, so that you don't need to change them if you haven't used them. The only thing you are not used to is the old carpet in the room. I’ve put together this guide to help you have a smoother trip with your child and avoid detours~ ❌Pits to Avoid Wearing the wrong shoes: The cave floor is slippery. We put sneakers on the kid (with worn-out soles, not slip-resistant), and the kid almost fell twice! You must put “non-slip shoes” on your child (soles with deep treads, like hiking shoes or professional non-slip shoes). The park entrance also rents non-slip shoe covers (5 yuan/pair, thicker and more slip-resistant than the free ones). It’s recommended to rent a pair. Choosing the wrong spot on the dark river boat: The first time we took the boat, we sat at the “rear,” and the kid’s view was blocked by the boatman, so they couldn’t see the stalactites on both sides and were unhappy the whole time! Always choose a seat on the “front sides of the boat” (best view). Before boarding, politely ask other passengers, “Can the child sit in front to see the scenery better?” Most will agree. Not bringing the child’s “comfort item”: Some areas in the cave are dimly lit, and the kid got scared and wanted to be held all the time. We didn’t bring the usual comfort toy (small doll), so it took a long time to calm them down! The two large beds were neat and comfortable, the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the cleanliness was impeccable—even the corners were dust-free. There was a small table and chairs by the window where I could sit and relax when tired. The large window provided great natural light, and the thick blackout curtains ensured a quiet, undisturbed sleep at night. The hotel's buffet breakfast area was bright and tidy, with a wide selection of food. Hot dishes, porridge, pastries, noodles, and eggs were all available, and the warming stations kept the food hot. It was great to start the day with a warm breakfast. The karst landscapes of Guangxi are truly healing; the dramatic peaks, rice paddies, and rivers form a picturesque scene. You can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise in the morning, and the gentle sunset in the evening. In your leisure time, you can stroll along the Youjiang River and soak in the unique, laid-back vibe of this small city. The hotel is conveniently located, the front desk service is thoughtful, and check-in and check-out were efficient. A better experience is to hike in and exit by boat, or vice versa. The scenery and environment are superb, with flowers blooming in each season, making it beautiful all year round. It would be great if there were a sightseeing bus package ticket, allowing people to choose freely. However, parking is charged, and there are separate fees: 5 yuan for a two-wheeled electric cart, 10 yuan for a three-wheeled electric cart, and 20 yuan for a car. This is quite unreasonable. I took motion sickness medication before the boat trip to the island, so I didn't feel particularly sick.
