The leaning of this tower is often compared to the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. However, this tower only has a height of 25 meters.
The shape of the pagoda amazes the eyes of visitors. The roof of the top is in the shape of a serving lid, but the roof of the porch is like a banana.
Originally, this building was built vertically by its architect, Leong Choon Cheong, but it began to tilt after the big floods in 1889 and 1895.
Previously known as Jam Tinggi, it was built in 1885 to act as a "Time Keeper" for the residents of Teluk Intan, Perak.
Leaning Tower Teluk Intan or previously known as Jam Tinggi (High Clock) was built in 1885 to be used as a water tank.
