Around the summer Obon festival, there is a firewood Noh in the precincts. It was fantastically performed in the bonfire and I was able to spend an extraordinary time. Lunch boxes come out with Noh, but that's delicious again! There is a hot spring next door where you can go on a day trip or stay. The temple is large and there are several buildings, so I wanted to take a leisurely tour when it was bright.
